The October infestation's bottom line is upon US, okay
It is of necessity, if the powers-that-be have their absolute way. The steady downward spiraling will continue, until the desirous outcome is obtained.
From the acrimony precipitated in the City Marshal's race, with the initial shot-across-the-bow, emanated from the Sheriff. There is not anything wrong with a sheriff supporting a candidate. However, it was known by this writer, what the next move would be.
The candidate began to defend is candidacy, leading to other information dropping negatively. Next, in another local race flares was thrown up concerning city school board candidates, that went to court, exacerbating the acrimony amongst US.
Catapult to south Monroe, development; business and housing as still awaiting the road improvements on a particular well traveled south Monroe thoroughfare.
The absolute incident standing out above and beyond is the I-20 housing development proposal by Mr. Square and the involved LLC, for which the City Hall Administration headed by the Mayor, refused for an extended length of time to allocate approved funding of ($500.000.00) five-hundred thousand dollars as an expenditure necessary to get the development started. A city-council-person sits on the i-20 economic development board. A battle ensued around the release of the funding, with an Administration official stating the monies wouldn't be released to individuals involved with the LLC's development project.
In the final analysis of that issue, after a repeated coming before the City Council, an individual aware of the situation, contacted two state senators of an other senate district, of which made contact with the City's Administration and the monies were released.
The incessant dismal demise of 'independent' projects requiring city funding or approval of South Monroe development.
Enter, the Biedenhorn Road area south Monroe housing development of ($250,00.00) two-hundred and fifty-thousand dollar homes derailed by mis-information to residents, in which an advisement to those residents, opined "low-income housing" was to be part of the projected community housing development.
Residents turned out in mass, against the proposed extending city lines to included the proposed project, to include infrastructure such as water and sewer.
The only significant projects of new housing in South Monroe, has been widdled through by State Representative Pat Moore who is running for Congress (https://patmooreforcongress.com/). A valuable asset to the local community, who has been able to bring state and local governmental funding couple with a non-profit entity and CDBG local funding to 'exact' change in neighborhoods such as Bryant's Addition, in south Monroe. Let the buyer beware:
However, the idiosyncrasies of the cultural aspect of a technocratic social media infused society has created a volatile environment for young and old to navigate. Violence permeates the every locality.
The downtown Monroe, 'eatery' environs and hospitality development, isn't inclusive of the retail industry which ran from the intersection of Elysian Fields Rd and DeSiard Street to DeSiard & St. John Street.
From Barber Shops, Clothing Stores, Hardware, Furniture and that's before 'the Five-points' 6th Street railroad crossing. Men and Women clothing, jewelers and optometry. What we have now is eat, drink and be merry.
Query for change
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A major revitalization project is coming for parts of District 17, thanks to newly approved funding secured during Louisiana’s recent appropriations session.
Louisiana State Representative Patricia Moore and her constituents say through the approval of House Bill 460, they were able to secure $850,000 in funding to go toward the $10 million revitalization project.
The areas the project hopes to target include Bryant’s Edition, specifically the areas near the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo, from Wilson Street to Marx Street.
Representative Moore says the the project is a community effort with future plans to upgrade entry points near the zoo.
Representative Patricia Moore says, " One of the reasons why my passion is I know how important it is for people to become first time home buyers, families to become first time home buyers and we’ve got to continue to go from neighborhood to neighborhood encouraging them to take control of their neighborhood work together.”
Project Manager with the Ahayah Community Development Corporation, Ronald Calhoun, says the project will begin with the construction of five new homes and expand over time. He says it could benefit property value, lower the crime rate and bring more people to the area.
He says, “With this money, because this grant money, we’ll be able to now bring values up to at least $120 to $130 a square foot, where now the whole community will be able to have equity from their property. So as we start building and putting people that actually have home ownership, it actually moves and it has been proven around the country as you build home ownership it moves crime out of the area.”
As Pat Moore's candidacy for Congress evolves, both Stewart Cathey and Michael Echols were instrumental in securing passage of Louisiana law, that usurped the authority of the city charter of Monroe. Disinformation would have you to believe, this action is the sole reason for acrimony in city government. It is not.
It is Not; so, Cut the Crap, Please
The nitty gritty
The nitty gritty of US against Us, is evident in recent physical combative incidents, in Octobers. The most memorably evidentiary is the Grammont Street Murders; a Father, His Child & His best Friend, of which altercation began at a Richwood Football game. And, now the most recent event in Assumption Parish.
Before that, the homecoming in Bastrop, caused injuries with hospitalizations with dozens of rounds shot.
Before then, an abrupt shooting occurred near a 'nite-club' in the DeSiard district between Elysian Fields railroad tracks & the 6th Street railroad tracks.
A fight broke out, gunfire was heard, a woman ran trying to escape the morass was run over by a man in a truck trying to escape; who later turned himself in to police.
Uncommonly common people who because of social-media have become something called 'influencers' and have entered their genre of "lambastedish lambastedness" into the political candidacy arena, are fueling another sort of derogatory smelting of US.
These 'creators' of angst, are off shoots of the people who film neighborhood fights of US, female, male, shootings and whatever gets the algorithm's attention. Just another methodology in the chasm of deprivation to degrade the culture, degraded since plantation, embedded in the gene pool; and now it is razor blade thin time, to reinforce the ideations of supremacy.
It has trickled down to our local government and society. The imperial wizardry in D. C.'s executive branch regime has called forth all jurisdictions to prove the mastery over every thing or person considered other.
If you're going to pray, pray right because now WE, US is the prey. Our families, our children, our culture all is under attack from "spiritual wickedness" in the high places.
